Steve Jobs Spotted At Apple Headquarters ‘Looking Good’

Steve Jobs was spotted recently at Apple Inc.’s Cupertino, Calif., campus, according to reports. Business Insider said an eyewitness saw the CEO at Apple headquarters in late January and that “he was looking good.”

The Insider noted that New York City-area author Matthew Cross wrote on his blog, the Divine Code, that he was visiting the Apple campus Jan. 31 and saw Jobs walk out of a building, talking on a mobile phone and smiling.

The publication said it contacted Cross for confirmation that he’d seen Jobs and, over the phone, the writer “sounded enthusiastic and trustworthy.”

Cross, who also works as a bank consultant, was in California for a meeting with Bank of America Corp. officials and stopped by Apple to drop off a copy of a book he had co-written that mentions Jobs and to buy a few items from the Apple campus gift shop. Cross told the Insider that the Apple co-founder had “a healthy spring in his step” and that his “voice was strong.”

Apple officials were unavailable for comment Wednesday afternoon. In January, Jobs announced that he was taking an indefinite medical leave, but would retain his chief executive’s post. Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook has taken over Jobs’ daily responsibilities. Apple has said Jobs will remain involved in major company decisions while on leave.
